  13. tables and people.  I wrote this pro-

  15. gram as a result of seeing this done

  17. with dice.  The object of the puzzle
  18.  
  19. is to figure out the pattern.  The
  20.  
  21. computer will roll four dice and will
  22.  
  23. announce n tables and n people around
  24.  
  25. the tables.  After watching the com-
  26.  
  27. puter roll for a while, your job is to
  28.  
  29. figure out the pattern and test your
  30.  
  31. theory.  The computer will ask you how
  32.  
  33. many tables and people there are for
  34.  
  35. a certain roll.  If you answer cor-
  36.  
  37. rectly, the computer will tell you so
  38.  
  39. and let you test the next roll.  If
  40.  
  41. you answer correctly for five rolls
  42.  
  43. the computer assumes you have figured
  44.  
  45. out the pattern.
